The Authentically Rachel Podcast

Hi! I’m Rachel! My life motto is, “To live is to give.”  I’ve learned that one of the many ways we can give is through encouraging one another. And over the past 13 years I’ve been doing just that. It all started when I was "internally decapitated" after my car was broadsided by a truck. In laymen’s terms my skull was separated from my spine, leaving me dangerously close to death or permanent paralysis.  The accident left me with a broken neck, torn ligaments, a severe traumatic brain injury along with other life-threatening internal injuries. I fell into a month-long coma and was partially paralyzed for months.

Although, I’ll never be fully healed this side of heaven, God has blessed me beyond my wildest expectations and my near miraculous physical recovery caused a stir in the media. However, I believe that everyone has life stories that can inspire and encourage others, and I’m dedicated to having uplifting conversations with those willing to share their struggles both great and small. So instead of falling into the trap of complacency and forgetting the lessons we learned, let’s share them! And build others up in the process! Come on this journey with me. I hope you listen and pray you are encouraged by every one of these conversations.
